Message from Secretary

  First of All, I would like to congratulate the dynamic team of our state chapter, Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (UPAOMSI) headed by my dear friend, Dr. Hari Ram (president), Dr. Naresh Sharma (president elect), Dr. U S Pal (immediate past president) under the Patronage of Prof R Pradhan & Prof Shadab Mohammad.

  The UP State Chapter of Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India was established long back under the dynamic leadership of Prof. R Pradhan with aim to improve the quality and standards of the speciality of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and bring together the best young minds of our state. The first official conference of UPAOMSI was held in the state capital city, Lucknow at King George Medical University in 2015 where more than 50 delegates participated and exchanged their experiences of emerging maxillofacial surgery in the country as well state. Since then, UPAOMSI is growing day by day and conducting Annual conferences on regular basis. UPAOMSI is also actively involved in organising various seminars, workshops and skill courses at various locations within the state.

  This year, UPAOMSI is scheduled to organise its 8 th Annual conference on 23.09.23-24.09.2023 in the campus of Aligarh Muslim university, Aligarh. It is going to be a scientific extravaganza for delegates and trainees across the country especially UP & NCR region. The mega event consists of intellectually stimulating plenary, keynotes and scientific deliberations. Paper & Poster presentations are being organized for delegates and trainees and a plethora of panel discussions from a reputed galaxy of maxillofacial surgeons.

  It has been heart-warming to see the passion among all our young maxillofacial surgeons in working towards spreading awareness about the speciality in their own capacities. Let us celebrate our speciality by coming together, joining hands and taking our fraternity to greater heights and making Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery a household name. I invite you all to be a part of our State-of-art annual conference that is gong to match international standards.

  Last but not the least, I must say thanks to all my colleagues and members of the website committee for their hard work and contribution for the launching of this most awaited website. “Alone we can do little and together we can do so much”
